The cold hard fact is that our country is tumbling headlong into communism.  Our children and grandchildren will soon face the reality of being forced to use government transportation, government housing, government health care, and government stores.  The freedoms we enjoy now are realizing their last days.  No longer will Americans be able to travel where and when they please in their own automobiles, or other affordable air, road, or track transport.  This freedom will be taken away in the name of  saving the planet---the newest pagan religion.  The incentive to profit from our own intelligence and hard work will be expunged from our society.  Anyone who desires to become more wealthy than his neighbor will be imprisoned as a dangerous capitalist.

It doesn't take a real genius to see the writing on the wall.  Liberalism has taken over all the traditional institutions that had previously acted as the gates to protect us from our own government. 

We sat around befuddled for eight years while G. W. Bush redefined conservatism from rugged individualism to compassionate nannyism.  He is not totally to blame, because while he blatantly changed the face of conservatism, we were in denial and would not believe what was going on.  Today, there are no conservative leaders.  William F. Buckley Jr. was the last great spokesman of conservatism.   Rush Limbaugh is one of the few real spokesman for personal freedom and liberty left in this country, and you know how scurrilous the liberals treat him. 

Four dollars and more per gallon for gasoline is not far away.  And when the democrats finally have their way, gas will be something that only the government can afford which will put the rest of us under their total control.  They've been working for this for years.  If  you don't believe me, then why would Hillary Clinton publicaly state that if elected, she will confiscate the profits from the oil companies?  Why doesn't she talk about confiscating the profits of the cosmetic and drug companies who have much larger profit margins that the oil companies?

Food prices have suddenly gone out of control because politicians (including Bush) in Washinton DC have been duped into thinking the solution for Global Warming is to wean ourselves from dependancy on oil.  So how does this affect food prices?  Our political "geniuses" have sold us on a falsehood;  that corn-based sythetic fuel will save the world.  Never mind that food prices world-wide have skyrocketed because of their duplicity--- "look how we're saving the earth." they say.  Yes, and only a little thought will tell you how they plan to solve this food problem.  They'll have to take over and create government stores where prices will be controlled.  Of course when nobody is left to produce food for the prices the government demands, we end up standing in long bread lines just like Russians did at the height of their "glory."

We're already on the slippery slope and there is no stopping the momentum now.  We have two extreme communists vying for president on the democrat ticket, and only one candidate remains on the conservative side.  McCain views himself as a charming and diplomatic statesman who will do whatever it takes to get things done.  So, even if by some magic he was to be elected president, he would give the country away to the communists and fascists in congress in order to fulfill his agenda, and nobody in the world knows what that is.

Here's how it is going to work in the future.  Once the communists succeed in being elected, laws will be passed to take away our weapons.  Private property will be confiscated in the name of public good, and laws will be passed to prevent anyone from freely speaking against those in power.  Insurmountable obstacles will be placed in the path of anyone other than a communist trying to run for government office.  Eventually, elections will devolve into a mere sham and political hacks will elect their own people, thinly disguising a communist dictatorship.

This may not happen in my lifetime, but it will happen.
